Location: Calgary
Application Deadline: October 31, 2014

Only those candidates selected to interview will be contacted and no phone calls please

You’ll notice by the Position title above we’re not particularly looking for just solo shows. X929 has always been a breeding ground for personality and in an increasing world of “shut up and play the songs” we tend to give the middle finger to that philosophy believing that great content and personality helps a station instead of hinders it. (The key word being “great”)

So if you or you and partner believe you fall into the “great” category, we’d really like to hear from you.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare & deliver X-Afternoons with “Insert your name(s) here” daily from 2pm-7pm
• Voice Tracking as required (very rarely, if ever)
• Personal appearances, remotes and other events (don’t be shy, our listeners are cool)
• Other duties as required by management

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• You’ve heard of X929, and know how to entertain it’s listeners with a clutter-free and entertaining drive show
• Working knowledge of Radio computers. (we use Wide Orbit btw, if you don’t know it, that’s ok, we’ll teach you)

Essential Requirements:

• Social media Wizard. (beyond having a Facebook page and Twitter feed)
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. (If you bring snacks to work, your co-workers are gonna expect you to share them)

Please send your resume & Demo to:
