I am a 26 years old female who is graduating from Media Communications at Brock University and also hold an associate’s degree in Arts and Science from Niagara College. In the past I have had a lot of public speaking experience for various local organizations and fundraising experience. I am looking to gain valuable experience that may lead to a permanent position in the future. I realize how difficult it is to break into this field so I would be willing to job shadow to start.

Do you want a Radio Announcer or a Facebook User?

Looking for a veteren radio broadcaster who enjoys putting time into an actual show, rather than Facebook? I'm your man!

It's not that I don't think Facebook is a valuable radio tool, but, how many jocks have you walked in on, going through their Facebook or Twitter page, instead of prepping for their next break?

I currently own a major market gig but admittedly am NOT living up to my end of the "Facebook the Hell out of everything" bargain. And I have no intention of living up to that in the future.

I have a Facebook account (I'm not THAT stupid) which I check daily, and frequently use it to communicate with my listeners. But NOT if it means I'm screwing with my next break.
