99.3 County FM's Greg Hinde Wins the National Campus & Community Radio Association Award For Blues or Similar Music

Picton, ON - June 24, 2025 99.3 County FM, your not-for-profit, volunteer-driven community radio station is exceedingly pleased to announce that Greg Hinde has won a National Campus & Community Radio Association (NCRA) Community Radio Award! 

 

The NCRA is a non-profit, national organization made up of 117 radio stations. 99.3 County FM is one of many community stations under this umbrella, where they provide their member stations with resources in order to help stations grow and serve their respective communities. The NCRA also gives out Community Radio Awards (CRABOS), which celebrates outstanding achievements within campus and community radio stations! The awards were presented on June 20th in Nanaimo, British Columbia during the 43rd National Campus and Community Radio Conference. 

  

Greg Hinde is one of 99.3 County FM's renowned DJ's with decades of musical experience. He is a self-taught musician and has learned multiple instruments. He writes, plays and records all of his music from his home. He often performs solo gigs in and around Prince Edward County.

 

Sideroads – The Home of The Blues in Prince Edward County is hosted by Greg Hinde and is broadcast on 99.3 County FM every Tuesday from 8 PM to 10 PM. Sideroads follows his passion for music and the arts, with Greg featuring his favourites every week. The critically acclaimed show won the CRABO for the category of Music: Blues or Similar Music! "SideRoads is one of the crowns of our specialty programming." 99.3 County FM General Manager Craig Mills wrote. "Greg has crafted the show to celebrate all forms of Blues music. He uses his own passion as a musician to share his love of the Blues through all its joy, catharsis, and powerful storytelling"
