Afternoon Drive/Assistant Program Director - Niagara ON


Country 89, located in beautiful Niagara is looking for a strong air talent with the creativity, passion and commitment to become an excellent programmer.

To consider this opportunity:

  • You are someone who has the skills and talent to produce a show geared towards adults 25-54 that's relevant, entertaining, interactive and fun.

  • You have at least 2 years experience as a program director.

  • You are someone who isn't afraid to work hard, someone who takes ownership, someone who truly wants to win and someone who can truly inspire and coach other talent.

  • Social media is a big part of what we do which means you must love to tweet, Facebook, etc.

  • Production and computer skills are vital and of course a valid driver's license.

  • You have a positive attitude, you are passionate, you are willing to learn and you take direction.

Assistant Program Director should have at least 2 years experience as a PD for the following…

-Maintain SOCAN/Factor reports and audits for on-air programming -constantly looking for ways to engage the community

-Knowledge of Music scheduling with RCS

-monitor and adhere to CRTC and Canadian Broadcast Standards Council rules and regulations

-Regular coaching of air talent

-Assist with the development and implementation of station promotions working with sales and on-air

-Traffic program such as Marketron

-Understanding and dissecting Numeris ratings
