If you're a rock and alternative music enthusiast who loves interacting with listeners through social media, texts, and calls, 104.9 the WOLF has an exciting opportunity for you to become our next Afternoon Host/Network Host & Music Assistant. Join us at one of the top rock stations in the country and be part of our dynamic team.

 

In addition to hosting, you'll have the chance to learn and grow in the music department, fine-tuning your skills and contributing to the Harvard Media content network. If you have showmanship, social media prowess, and the right attitude, and you're eager to dive into the world of music programming, then this is the opportunity for you!

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

• Prepare and deliver an engaging & entertaining program, 2-6pm Monday-Friday

• Host a network show across multiple markets.

• Station appearances, remotes and events as required.

• Daily web content/social media updates

• Voice track when needed.

• Voice commercials as assigned by the Production Department.

• Execute on-air promotions.

• Attending meetings as required by management of Harvard.

• Assist with updating and maintaining music libraries.

• Assist with reconcile, edit, and export of daily logs.

• Help to ensure station meets CanCon requirements.

• Other duties as required by management.

 

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

 

• Dedicated to superior show prep.

• Must understand responsible and effective use of social media and digital content.

• Creative and think outside the box.

• Experience in MusicMaster, SoCast, RadioPromoHub and Futurian asset.

• A wizard with Wide Orbit and Adobe Audition.

• Must be self-motivated.

Essential Requirements:

 

• Minimum 2 years’ on-air experience

• Loves contributing to a creative programming team.

• Amazing time management skills and organization skills

• Plays well with others.

• Must have a valid driver's license and provide a current drivers’abstract.
