Summary
Canada’s premier audio syndication network Orbyt Media is seeking a creative and tech-savvy audio and digital producer to the lead the team’s creative productions. Our ideal candidate is a highly-motivated, self-starter who can juggle multiple projects and handle all aspects of production from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media and Digital Marketing
Manage and maintain Orbyt Media’s social media accounts (Instagram + Youtube + LinkedIn), including accounts for Orbyt-produced shows
Record, produce and post video and audio assets to support Orbyt’s radio and podcast offerings
Regularly create digital marketing assets to promote Orbyt’s shows and services
Build one-sheets and power point presentations for sales and sponsorship opportunities
Website updates
Podcasts
Be the 'go-to' expert on everything related to podcast production
Chase, book and schedule guests on a wide range of relevant and timely topics. Be able to react to the news cycle
Record both video and audio
Edit and mix podcast audio to create a cohesive and professional listening experience
Regularly gather performance data and identify opportunities for growth
Seek out sponsorship and revenue opportunities
Radio
Produce and edit Orbyt Media’s original radio programming – editorial and technical production – for timely distribution to affiliates
Provide scripting and editorial feedback
Propose and develop new and original ideas for syndicated radio shows
Critical Qualifications
Three to five years experience as an audio producer
Experience in the podcast industry space – ability to use metrics to inform decision making
Advanced knowledge of social media platforms for posting and engagement
Exceptional knowledge of photo/video editing software
Working knowledge of Breva or other email marketing platforms
Ability to manage multiple files at once, set priorities and solve problems
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
