Broadcast Technician Western Canada
The Pattison Media Technical team supports 48 Radio stations, 3 Television stations and various clients and we are looking for Broadcast Technicians for locations in Western Canada.
If you are a self-motivated individual who enjoys a challenge and would enjoy learning and working with a team of experienced technicians that will help prepare you for future Technical Manager opportunities within Pattison Media, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance, repair and installation of audio/video studio and transmission equipment, computer equipment and associated servers, and networks.
Help support the technical operation of our radio stations.
Assist with the design and installation of radio broadcast solutions.
Assist with technical requirements for remote broadcasting.
Develop studio and transmitter projects in conjunction with the Technical Manager.
Develop and maintain technical records and drawings using Visio.
Provide 24/7 on-call support.
Liaise with other departments on technical matters.
QUALIFICATIONS IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE:
Be passionate about what you do and enjoy going to work everyday with a can-do attitude.
Love working with and become a part of a talented and creative team.
Graduate of recognized Broadcast Electronics Technician or Technologist program.
Detail oriented with the ability to see projects and tasks through to completion.
The successful candidate will hold a valid driver’s license as travel may be required.
Be willing to learn and update your knowledge of broadcast, computer, and transmission systems.
Must be physically fit and able to carry out all duties and responsibilities safely and independently.
