
Canadian Traffic Network, Canada’s largest supplier of Traffic reporting to radio and TV stations is looking for new part-time swing reporting talent for our Edmonton office.

Here’s what we expect:
This is not a traditional, or regular schedule, you could be called to cover shifts any day of the week, any time of the day – sometimes planned in advance….sometimes a little less so and this is what you will do;
· Present live and/or live to tape traffic reports to the top TV and Radio stations, maybe from our traffic helicopter, or our ground traffic studio, and these days….maybe even from home.
· Gather information using all of our company’s resources, including our helicopters, web sites, social media, and more
· Manage all that information, making sure details are accurate and current, then present it on-air to commuters.
What you will bring:
· Passion and dedication
· Previous on- air or media experience. Traffic or news experience preferred.
· Excellent multi-tasking, and communication skills, and an attention to detail.
· Knowledge of Edmonton area roads would be a plus, but we will train you.
