DARRYL HENRY ANNOUNCES HIS RETIREMENT

Updated: Nov 17

After 39 years behind the mic, Darryl Henry has hung up the headphones and announced his retirement.

Darryl began his career in 1984 as the all-night host at CKLQ in Brandon, MB before moving on to be a part of the inaugural on air team at 97.7 HTZ-FM in St. Catharines, ON.

After 4 years of rock & roll and chicken wings, a larger market called and Darryl headed east to CJFM/MIX 96 Montreal. Five years later, Darryl jumped at the chance to return home and be a part of the on-air team at the new 97.3 EZ Rock Toronto.

During his 14 year tenure, Darryl helped take EZ Rock to #1 before moving on to 98.1 CHFI in 2010.  From interviewing Elton John in his home in Las Vegas to doing his show from a coffin one Halloween in Montreal, Darryl has enjoyed an amazing radio adventure and looks forward to travelling the world with his Lovely Wife!
