Fanshawe College Radio Students Demand Partial Tuition Refund

Subject: Formal Notice Regarding CIXX-FM Removal & Request for Tuition Reassessment – Winter 2026

Dear Dean Mary Harrison, Associate Dean Jeff Miles, President Peter Devlin, and to whom it may concern:

Please find attached a formal letter on behalf of the Broadcasting – Radio and Media Production and Journalism – Broadcast students at Fanshawe College. The letter outlines our concerns regarding the removal of CIXX-FM (106.9 The X) for the Winter 2026 semester and the resulting impact on program delivery, tuition value, and advertised academic services.

I have also attached a copy of the current program description referenced in the letter.

A completed signature package will be submitted on Monday, December 8th, 2025.

As outlined in the attached letter, we respectfully request a written response by Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, addressing the three items detailed in the statement.
