Kevin Brown, Managing Director / Director of Sales with Bayshore Broadcasting, will be “semi-retiring” at the end of August.
Brown’s broadcasting career spans 44 years, beginning at CKCO-TV Kitchener in Operations.
He then moved over to CKNX-TV in Wingham as a Creative Writer, Producer and Salesperson.
He crossed over to CKNX Radio as General Sales Manager.
Brown was then recruited by Bayshore Broadcasting with the promise of helping to expand their footprint throughout Ontario's playground markets.
He worked closely with Ross Kentner to win 6 new originating FM Licences for Bayshore, launch and grow those Stations and then add Tobermory last year.
He will stay nearby for the foreseeable future to coach and consult. Brown also presently serves as the Treasurer of the Ontario Association of Broadcasters.
