I wish to announce that after 46 years at CORUS Peterborough and nearly 50 years on the public airwaves, I ‘redeployed’ from 100.5 FRESH Radio at the end of July. Over that time I’ve had the distinct pleasure of working with some of the finest people in broadcasting, then as now. I also feel blessed for having the opportunity of getting to know thousands of listeners over that time, many of whom have since become friends.
Having the opportunity to leave on my own terms, along with the privilege to say goodbye to my audience, was a true gift:
I will continue to operate my home-based internet station The Kawartha Time Machine, as well as voiceover projects at GordonGibb.com, my affiliation with the Peterborough Petes, together with some writing and book projects.
