As the Management & Label Associate you will be responsible for overseeing label operations and day-to-day artist management, including managing label representation for all artists signed to the roster in a manner that is consistent with Red Music Rising’s culture and values.


Highlights of this opportunity:

•Prepare touring budgets/alternate scenarios to choose from;

•Liaise with booking agents, sign contracts, check routings and tour details including announce plans and associated marketing;

•Ensure artist merchandise is ordered, shipped, and tracked as well as work with manager/merchandise company on overall merchandise strategy and marketing through socials/touring sales;

•Ensure all songs and set lists are properly registered, working with Royalty Admin partner.

•Share updates with marketing team, follow through on all projects, specifically execution of social media posting, monitoring and interaction;

•Attend all management and marketing meetings related to artists + label;

•Ensure event/tour marketing posts/announces are executed correctly (including tags/hashtags) and in a timely manner as per content calendars;

•Work with artist to ensure personal social media posts follow content calendars + schedules;

•Provide production assistance & management to all photo & video shoots, live stream performances, interviews,

recording sessions etc (when necessary);

•Maintain admin/personal information files as well as portals and password information in artist database;

•Work with business manager (when applicable) for payments and receipt maintenance;

• secure handling and storage of confidential documents.

Your accomplishments and experience include:

•Experience in the Canadian music industry for 2+ years;

•Experience in live music and touring;

•Proficiency with priority social media platforms;

•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;

•Proficiency in MS Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Suite, Dropbox, Slack;

•Experience with an Indigenous organization and cultural awareness an asset;

•Intermediate Photoshop, Illustrator and/or In Design experience an asset;

•Proficiency with email and other business related software is required.

The position is ideally located in Toronto but candidates from other regions will be considered as this position can be done remotely. Access to high-speed internet is necessary to accomplish the remote working arrangement.
