Corus Radio Edmonton, Chuck@92.5 is looking for a dynamic & fun Announcer for a new Morning Show. Reporting to the Regional Program Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for live on-air show. We want someone smart, bold, fearless, and entertaining with superhuman social media skills. We’re looking not only for our next great on-air performer, but someone who wants to be part of Chuck@92.5 and this fantastic city. If you want the best job ever, we’ll be a pretty good match for each other!

 

You will contribute by: 

• Creating fun, interesting, and topical content.

• Using social media to drive ratings.

• Promotional appearances on behalf of Chuck @ 92.5 (virtually or in person).

• Commercial production as required.

• Ability to embrace the silliness and irreverence of the Chuck @ 92.5 brand. Yes, you may have to wear a silly costume once or twice but also LOVE doing so.

• Brand ambassador in the community. Living, and breathing everything Edmonton and representing Chuck @ 92.5 at events and throughout the city  

 

Skills and experience you will bring:

• Morning show experience is a big thing…but also just a dynamic personality with the gift of gab!

• Previous on-air experience.

• Strong on-air presentation and ability to relate to and excite the audience by fluently using your words, the phone, and social media.

• Self-motivated with a ton of ideas. Be creative & innovative!

• Strong knowledge of social media on all relevant platforms.

• Is looking for a place to grow, invent, create, connect, and make things happen far beyond the job description.

• Wants to be part of a company that invests in people, offering the support, guidance, mentorship, and leadership that makes us all better at what we do.

• Has integrity, a positive and forward thinking attitude and excellent work ethic.
