Morning Show Host and Operations Manager - Bracebridge, ON

Country 102
Morning Show Host and Operations Manager (Full-Time)
 Bracebridge, ON

We are Muskoka’s Country station – serving Ontario’s #1 cottage country destination with today’s best country music year-round. We’ve got a great team at our studios in Bracebridge, but it’s just missing one piece – you! Country 102 has an opening for a Morning Show Host/Operations Manager for our station.

A bit about us:

Bayshore is an independent broadcaster with 9 stations across southern Ontario. Muskoka needs no introduction – one of the most beautiful parts of Ontario, a year-round home to many, and a vacation destination for hundreds of thousands of others throughout the year. Country 102 is a pretty new station in the market, but we’ve already made a name for ourselves as THE country music station for Muskoka and we provide extensive local news and events coverage for the area as well.

A bit about you:

Making local connections for your radio show is in your blood. You like to have conversations with the people you meet as you live your life, hear their stories, and tell them on the air. You’re an entertainer, but you’re also knowledgeable about what’s going on in the world. You have experience leading and working with a team of professionals to create the best possible radio experience for your listeners. You know that the tiniest details are the difference between a bad show and a good show, and between a good show and a great sohw (point out this typo for bonus marks). You like the idea of working and living in an outdoors enthusiast’s paradise – only 2 hours away from the GTA, but pleasantly removed from its hustle and bustle.

- Minimum 5 years on-air experience or at least 3 in a morning show or program management role

- Experience with promotions, voice tracking, and music scheduling are all assets

- A proven track record of working with your team – promotions, sales, news, and management

- Exceptional organizational skills

- Confident using WideOrbit, Adobe Audition, MusicMaster, Microsoft Office suite, and other broadcast software as necessary

- You must have a valid Driver's License with no restrictions

Send us your resume and a scoped show (not a “best of” – we want to hear how you sound every day of the week). Tell us what you can bring to Country 102 behind and away from the mic.
