Are YOU ready to bring your passion for radio to the forefront and become a household name in Sydney? We’re looking for someone who can deliver exceptional content that entertains, informs, and inspires our audience all across the CBRM.


We are in search of someone who can put on a daily live and LOCALLY focused morning show that both captivates and reflects the lifestyle and interests of our audience in Cape Breton. 


Located on Charlotte Street in the heart of Downtown Sydney, we live, breath and embrace everything LOCAL! What truly sets Sydney apart is its sense of community. With its friendly locals, and strong sense of pride, it's easy to feel right at home.


Here’s a little bit more about the position:

 

Responsibilities

-       Host a morning show in Sydney that delivers compelling, fun and local content.

-       Community Engagement – We want someone who lives Cape Breton lifestyle!

- Someone who can get out of the studio and be a part of the community.

-       Available to host on location remotes and station specific events.

-       Convert your show content into social media content that resonates with our listeners and accurately reflects our brand.

-       Voicing commercials and voice track other shows in and out of market when necessary.

 

Qualifications

-       Minimum 2 years experience On Air.

-       Working knowledge of Wide Orbit Automation and Adobe Audition.

-       Connect and engage with an A25-54 audience.

-       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-       Proficient ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.

-       Valid Drivers License is a must.
