Indie88 has a rare and unique opening for a Morning Show Host, as part of a well-established, hyper-local three-person team that likes (and is allowed) to have fun.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Hosting a morning show, 5:30-10:00am weekdays.

• Working collaboratively in creating and producing content for your show

• Being a leader in and out of the studio and in the prep process.

• Willing to be yourself talk about your real life on-air

• Always thinking about how to bring your and our listeners’ everyday lives to the show

• Bringing your on-air show online through digital content on our website and on social media

• Connecting with the local community through appearances at promotions, remotes, and events

Here’s what we are looking for:

• A show focused on local that could only originate in Toronto and speaks to a mature, non-stereotypical Alt audience that embraces new music and a variety of genres

• You don’t have to be funny, but the show should be fun

• Getting great callers on air and making the audience a part of the show

• You can speak credibly to the music we play

• Strong knowledge of social media on all relevant platforms.

• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
