National Director of Promotions & Marketing
Stingray Radio has an exciting opportunity for a National Director of Promotions and Marketing based in our Toronto office. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceiving, directing and executing our Toronto stations contesting, events and promotional objectives and the tactical promotional and marketing operations across Canada.
National Responsibilities:
Lead National (multi-market) promotions for Stingray Radio
Merchandise and monetize multi-market programming features including syndicated shows, charity initiatives, etc.
Develop and standardize all promotional protocols (proposals, wrap reports, contest rules, budget tracking, promotional inventory)
Work with Digital Content team on standardizing image and design templates for each format
Work with GM’s and PD’s on recruitment for promo vacancies
Local Responsibilities:
Creation, development, implementation and management of all station and sales promotions including ratings contests, charity events and cluster heritage events
Creation and/or supervision of every promotional package
Assist in the creation of every sales package
Work with promoters, events, clients, etc to obtain sponsorships and strategic affiliations
Run a department that is accountable to our clients
Event planning as they pertain to ratings and contesting onsite
Prepare, oversee and approve special programming announcements to staff and listeners
Aid in creation and design of website content and the development and management of our weekly listener club newsletters
Manage on-air promotional inventory including all promos and liners
Design and oversee production of station promotional materials (clothing, banners, station vehicle design, etc.)
Writing of station promos, liners and imaging
Developing, executing and attending station promotions
Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director
