Pattison Media Ltd - Merritt Division, CKMQ, is seeking to add aBroadcast Journalist to anchor our news and provide Merritt Centennials BCHL, play-by-play coverage on Q101.

The ideal candidate is a radio news presenter with excellent reading and writing skills. We are searching for an individual who can produce stories with creativity and professionalism. Your social media skills will be relied upon to develop and build our online presence.

You will produce and anchor weekday news for our radio station while keeping our Q101.ca website up to date with the latest news from our region and doing play-by-play for our beloved “Cents”

Your qualifications will include:

• A positive attitude and coachable disposition is a must!

• Editorial, reading, and writing skills

• Being adept at all delivery platforms, including engagement on the web and

social media

• Broadcast Journalism degree or diploma or equivalent experience is preferred
