107.5 KOOL FM is seeking an On-air announcer + Digital producer who wants to create fun, memorable and engaging content! We are an independent broadcasting company. That means we can make decisions quickly, still believe radio is really fun, relevant and encourage high fives in the hallway. Central Ontario Broadcasting offers a very friendly work environment in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. It’s a great location - 20 minutes to ski hills and cottage country, less than an hour from Toronto.
The On-Air + Digital Producer position is a hybrid role with responsibilities both on-air and in the digital content department. Your work week will be Wednesday- Sunday.
The Role:
Assist in reaching new audiences and keeping our current audience engaged both on-air and on digital channels.
Assist in creating and executing the digital and content strategy laid out by management, with a strong focus on social media, including content for websites, social media, email marketing, SMS, and more
Create consistent content based on a set strategy for our digital platform and two radio station websites.
Creating videos for social media.
Assisting with monitoring and responding to comments on social media.
Collecting video and photo assets for digital use, and the for the newsroom.
To be successful in this position you:
Enjoy a fast paced, energised environment surrounded by people who enjoy making things happen.
Have an understanding of social media and stay on top of trending platforms and content.
Have video and photo editing skills.
Have an understanding of various digital marketing concepts to reach mass audience.
Have experience working with WordPress..
Are comfortable navigating through all major social media platforms.
