boom 97.3, Toronto is looking for an outgoing, hard-working, informed, and entertaining on-air personality. You work well as part of a team, you are truly dedicated to your craft, and you are engaging and authentic! You’re a great storyteller, a show prep machine, LOVE music from the 70s 80s 90s, and are amazing with the phones!

If you have a genuine enthusiasm for making a unique brand of radio as a part of an extremely dedicated and talented team, you may be who we’re looking for!

• You can’t wait to get out of bed to entertain and engage with the people of Toronto.

• You have a knack for observing human behavior and weaving that into short/fun stories on-air.

• You’re outgoing at parties and bring the conversational energy to new heights!

• Your show-prep filter is always on – nothing gets by you without you considering how that could turn into a great bit on-air.

• You bring an infectious enthusiasm to work every day both on and off the air.

• You’re up for a challenge to cover every on-air show on boom.

• You’re relentlessly creative in both your show planning and social media posts.

• You work the phones and social media like a fiend.

• You passionately believe that your best work comes when you collaborate with other people.

• You check the “Expert Level” box on Wide Orbit and VoxPro.

• You love brainstorming new and exciting ideas for promos, bits, imaging, and more!

• You work well under pressure and react swiftly and with style.
