Production Assistant / Videographer


Stingray, Lloydminster has a very rare opening in the Television Production Department for our stations in Lloydminster. You must be passionate about producing locally relevant content, with knowledge of filming, editing, and working in a production control room environment.


The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling the following responsibilities:

Helping to produce all aspects of our daily newscasts.

Post stories / newscasts / programs to social media (including YouTube).

Trimming, editing, and assembling together panels, interviews, and stories from the week into program packages.

Assist in the production and assembly of graphical packages / templates for our local programming.

Shoot, edit, and/or write one or more stories per week, time permitting.


Required skills and qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in television broadcasting

Valid driver license

Experience with Inception News

Knowledge of Adobe or Final Cut editing systems

Experience filming news / sports / documentary / style programming

Must be eligible to legally work in Canada

Meet tight deadlines

Conscientious, dependable and detail oriented

A team player

Have excellent people skills, professional attitude & appearance
