Stingray Radio has an exciting opportunity to join our team in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, the Annapolis Valley. Based in Kentville, Nova Scotia this position will allow the successful candidate to live and work in a close-knit community where radio plays a crucial role.
We’re looking for someone who understands the importance of local radio and who has the passion and drive to connect with listeners in person, on socials and on-air.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, organizing and implementation of promotions and contests.
Collaborate with Sales to develop client related promotions and sponsorships.
Ensure visibility and enhancement of the station’s brand in the community.
Co-ordinate, execute and oversee on-site station events.
Manage station website and social media accounts.
Maintain station vehicle and Promotional assets (e.g. signage, tents, flags).
Execute a daily on-air show 3p-7p, do remotes and required MC duties.
Covering for other dayparts as required
Qualifications:
Detail oriented with super strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to think creatively, conceptualize ideas and find opportunities.
Ability to work under pressure and react accordingly and quickly.
Strong computer skills with full knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).
Experience with Music Master, Wide Orbit, Adobe Audition, VoxPro an asset.
Valid driver’s license required.
