Job Description
As the Promotions coordinator, you have excellent communication skills, love connecting with our listeners and stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Programming Manager, you use your superior organization skills to plan and execute station promotions that engage audiences and increase station visibility.
What you’ll do:
Development and execution of promotional strategies that promote the station, including creation of events, campaigns, press releases and social media posts that best represent our brand.
Development and implementation of client promotions, including managing all client, sponsor and stakeholder promotions to ensure agreed upon deliverables are met.
Coordination of station contests, promotional signage, etc.
Assist with planning, promoting and executing station events
Requirements:
Min 3 year radio promotions experience
Excellent writing and communication skills
Proficient in building promotional plans and presentations
Experience in graphic design (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is an asset
Experience in newsletters/email marketing
Other duties as assigned
Ability to build a time machine with duct tape, popsicle sticks and chewing gum an asset 😀
