Reporting to our Station Manager you will support promotions & office operations to ensure that brand imaging and messaging are effectively communicated to client and listeners alike. Attention to detail and a creative heart are an asset as you both support the creation of sales driven promotions as well as the practical execution of them. Some light traveling is required.

You will also answer phone calls at reception for our businesses, greet and direct guests and public visitors, receive deliveries and distribute, and handle general office administration (maintaining/ordering supplies, communicating with third party companies, etc.).


• Developing and executing brand and sales-driven promotions, contests, and events

• Creating, editing and managing promotional marketing and advertising materials (i.e. signage, station equipment, station vehicles, prizing etc.)

• Assist in managing inventory of prizing and promotional airtime

• Schedule and maintain on-air/digital promotion assets and inventory

• Street team coordination including training and scheduling for on-site appearances (remote broadcasts, events, on-location appearances, etc.)

• Creating post analysis wrap-up reports of station/brand/sales related events and promotions

• Contribute and monitor social media accounts

• Assisting in web management

• Grow station email database and send weekly emails and newsletters

• Covering part-time front desk/reception duties. Includinggreeting guests, mailing out prizes, answering switchboard phone calls, answering listener texts to the radio station

• Maintaining and ordering stock/office, lunch room and cleaning supplies

• Monitor toner and paper for printer/fax machines and re-order supplies as needed. Report printer machine meter monthly

• Apply postage to outgoing mail and drop off at postage centre

Required Skills:

• 2 years previous radio promotional experience

• Punctual and detail orientated

• Strong interpersonal and communications, and presentation skills

• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide a driver's abstract

• Proven ability to work effectively and somewhat autonomously

• Proficiency in graphic design is an asset

• Responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidential and sensitive information

• Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling software and project management tools

• An honest, adaptable and collaborative approach to work effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced industry

Additional Notes

• Business-casual dress acceptable, maintaining a neat appearance.

• Flexible (and adjustable) hours are required for completing tasks and attending promotional events when they occur outside of normal business hours.
