Pattison Media, Canada's largest western-based media company, has an exciting opportunity to join our Victoria team as Promotions Director for The Zone! This full-time position will report to the Program Director and be a part of The Zone’s, management team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing, coordinating & executing station programming and sales-driven promotions

  • Developing and managing annual promotion and marketing budget

  • Developing and coordinating station marketing and advertising materials

  • Managing annual calendar of station promotions and events

  • Managing calendars of station inventory (Promos, liners, sweepers, PSAs, etc.)

  • Organizing station participation and presence in and at client and community events

  • Management of station resources (i.e. vehicles, station equipment, prizing, signage)

  • Hiring, training and coaching employees (Cruisers/Community Coordinator)

  • Creating and editing all content for The Zone’s weekly announcer liners and talk sheets

  • Attending weekly meetings for promotion requests, announcer updates, clients etc.

  • Assist with on-site set-ups, activations, broadcasts, and staff & volunteer coordination when necessary
