CTN Toronto is growing and are currently looking for our next On-Air Radio Traffic Reporter, covering both the AM and PM drive periods in Canada’s biggest and busiest city.


Here are some of the things you will be doing:

Checking all of our information sources to get a really good picture of what is happening on the roads in and around Toronto during the morning and afternoon commutes.

Using that information to put together and then present a traffic report that people want to listen to – that actually helps them get across the GTA

Update internal traffic information databases regularly.

Office duties as required.


Here’s what you need for this position;

  • A Post-secondary education in broadcasting and or journalism

  • A minimum of 1 year experience on-air at a radio or TV station, with experience in traffic and/or news reporting being an asset.

  • A solid knowledge of roads in and around the GTA.

  • Know how to use a computer. Have a good working knowledge of and experience with various broadcasting equipment, audio editing software, and FTP technology

  • Flexibility. This is not a 9-5 job.

  • Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to get here

  • A Great Attitude!
