RADIO VETERAN MIKE BENDIXEN JOINS CORUS AUDIO LEADERSHIP TEAM

Seasoned talk radio expert, Mike Bendixen, has been appointed National Director of Talk Radio and Director of Talk and Talent for 640 Toronto.

Mike joins Corus Radio with 25 years of major market news and talk radio experience in Toronto. He most recently served as a managing partner at RMR Media Strategies, showcasing his strategic acumen and industry prowess. He also spent 12 years at Newstalk 1010 in Toronto, making him a recognized figure in the radio world.

“Mike’s knowledge combined with Corus’s commitment to excellence sets the stage for a promising future for the world of Talk Radio,” said Vice President Corus Audio, Ronnie Stanton.

Mike will be based in Toronto, beginning his new role on September 5, and will move into the National Director of Talk role assumed by Larry Gifford.

Larry, who will be departing in October, has spent more than 30 years in radio as a news and sports anchor/reporter, program director and consultant. He has led the talk radio division at Corus with heart, dedication, expertise, and passion for the last four years.
