TORONTO, ON (June 11, 2020) Radioplayer Canada, the radio streaming app that delivers more than 500 radio stations to Canadian listeners across multiple platforms, has introduced upgrades, including a revamped user interface and additional features to optimize the Radioplayer experience.
Version 5 of the Radioplayer Canada app has a new look and feel and added features like a“Favourites” carousel to make finding presets easier; improved search functionality; and new tools to enhance the in-car experience, including simple voice control (stop, pause, play) and deeper Apple Car Play integration.
Elsewhere in the app, listeners can now get notifications on their phones or tablets when a new episode of their favourite podcast or program is published. They can also share what they’re listening to with friends by sending a link which automatically opens the Radioplayer app and immediately streams that station.

There are now more than 500 Canadian radio stations available on Radioplayer.
In an era of rapidly changing listener habits, Radioplayer has expanded from being available on iOS, Android devices and online, to a growing number of streaming platforms and smart speaker devices, including Amazon Echo, Amazon Fire TV, Sonos, BOSE, Google Chromecast, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, among others. Radioplayer maintains a core focus on the in-car experience, with a growing number of automotive partnerships, including Audi, VW, and Porsche.
