Do you have great communication skills + a strong willingness to continue to learn and grow? At CTN, you will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, where a positive, friendly, and professional manner is required to meet some serious deadlines.
What we will need you to do:
This would not be a traditional, or regular schedule, you could be called to cover shifts weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, mid-days – sometimes planned in advance….sometimes a little less so, to do any or all of this;
Provide live and/or live to tape traffic reports to TV and Radio stations, some from the air, some from the ground – and in these pandemic times…some maybe even from home.
Gather information utilizing our company’s resources, including our helicopters, web cameras, web sites, maps, social media, and even old school phone calls to local sources.
Manage all that information you have just gathered, keeping the facts straight, making sure details are accurate and current, and tracking any changes/updates.
What you will bring:
Passion and dedication
Previous on- air or media experience. Traffic experience preferred.
Working knowledge of area roads and traffic patterns preferred.
Flexible availability, we are a 7 day a week operation.
Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and attention to detail skills.
Windows based computer skills.
