
Position: Technical Producer - The New Classical FM

Hours per week: Permanent part-time (25 hours per week)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Technical Producer who will play a vital role in managing the technical flow of our radio programs. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, interpersonal abilities, and a genuine passion for the industry. As a Technical Producer, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless on-air operations, collaborating with a team of hosts and programmers, and contributing to the overall success of our programs.
Responsibilities:
Manage the technical flow of radio programs, including sound mixing, audio editing, and other live broadcast elements
Collaborate closely with hosts and programmers to deliver high-quality content.
Ensure smooth operation of broadcast software, audio consoles, and other technical equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and providing immediate solutions.
Qualifications:
Completion of a radio program or relevant education/experience in broadcasting.
Strong computer skills. Experience with WideOrbit or similar radio automation software is a major plus
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and live atmosphere.
Willingness to work early morning hours and commute to downtown Toronto with ease (day or night).
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
Fluent in English
