Television-Digital Writer/Producer Kamloops, BC Pattison Media has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Television Writer/Producer in our Kamloops Creative Department. Responsibilities · Write, produce, and direct original and effective Television/Digital creative for a variety of local and possibly out-of-market Pattison Media clients on an assigned account list, keeping in mind department timelines, guidelines and procedures supporting the achievement of client advertising objectives. · Communicate with clients on a regular basis regarding commercial content, approvals, and marketing directions. · Knowledge of Wide Orbit or similar experience with commercial traffic software. · Maintain a current knowledge of advertising regulations, current events, and popular culture. · Brainstorm, motivate and inspire fellow Writer/Producers. · Knowledge and familiarity with digital cameras & lenses and proficiency with Adobe Premier. · Must be familiar with Social Media platforms and content specifications. Qualifications and Skills · Positive attitude is a must, as is the ability to problem solve and a strong desire to achieve. · Degree or Diploma from a recognized Broadcast/Journalism Program or equivalent commercial experience. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong administrative skills, detail oriented with the ability to multitask. · Able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, efficiently prioritizing tasks and work independently with minimal supervision · Contribute to the Creative Department and the stations as a team player.
