THE SOUND OF JAZZ CONCERT SERIES RETURNS FOR ITS 45TH YEAR

JAZZ.FM91 is proud to welcome the return of its signature Sound of Jazz Concert Series following a year-long hiatus.

The 45th season of the Sound of Jazz Concert Series features six special concerts taking place between October 2021 and March 2022 in the Long & McQuade Performance Hall at the JAZZ.FM91 studios. The season gets under way with the Jeremy Ledbetter Trio on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m., featuring Grammy Award winner Larnell Lewis on drums, the illustrious Rich Brown on bass and bandleader Jeremy Ledbetter on the keys, along with special guests.

“The 45th Sound of Jazz Concert Series season is an exciting milestone for us,” said Dana Wigle, General Manager of JAZZ.FM91. “This year is special because thanks to the support of our partners at Don Valley North Lexus, the Sound of Jazz Concert Series is accessible to everyone.”

Audiences from across the globe will be able to hear each concert LIVE on the air and see them online via a live stream on JAZZ.FM91’s Facebook page. As with all Sound of Jazz concerts, the performances will also be archived for an upcoming episode of our weekly Sound of Jazz program, sponsored by WTF Group, Commercial Real Estate Development, on Sundays at 4 p.m. The Sound of Jazz Concert Series is proudly sponsored by Don Valley North Lexus.
