If you are a charismatic personality, enjoy building relationships in the community and are ahead of the pop culture curve, we are looking for you. The ideal candidate is a social media influencer with the ability to connect and engage with the station’s target audience on-air and online.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for hosting, operating, and producing your own live weekend show
Availability for remote broadcasts and station appearances
Required to voice track or cover other shifts if necessary
Daily contribution to digital platforms including website and social media
Voicing commercials
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Engaging and personable on the air, on the phone, on the street and in the hallway
Minimum 2-5 years on-air experience
Must be able to communicate effectively in all settings
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as take direction
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Engaged in community…social media…music…and culture
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge of Wide Orbit and Music Master an asset
