Changes At Global News

Global News announced today that Mackay Taggart has been promoted to Director, Eastern Stations. Most recently the Ontario Regional Director of News, Mackay will now oversee the newsrooms at Global Montreal, Global Halifax, and Global New Brunswick, along with the four Global Ontario stations – Global Toronto, Global Durham, Global Kingston, and Global Peterborough – he currently manages. Mackay’s vision and strong leadership skills will ensure that Global News continue to deliver the highest quality of production for all the markets in the Eastern Region.

Also, Sherri Clark will now move into the Global Toronto News Director role. Sherri brings extensive experience as both a News leader in Calgary and a News Director for Global Regina and Saskatoon.
