Vanessa Wright Joins Global News Durham

Global News is pleased to welcome a familiar face, Vanessa Wright, to our Durham team as a Videographer. 

For the last year, Vanessa has been working at Global Halifax as a Digital Broadcast Journalist, covering some of the biggest stories in the Maritimes, including the Halifax wildfires in 2023. 

She grew up in Toronto, graduating from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in criminology in 2022.

Her first day with Global Durham is Monday, May 27.
