Position: Freelance Weekend / Fill-in Show Host
Location: TORONTO
99.9 VIRGIN RADIO
Virgin Radio is looking for terrific talent to add to our line-up in the Toronto market. We’re looking for someone who; lives and
breathes hit music, loves and gets the city of Toronto and content creator on all platforms.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: Weekends (16-20 hours; 2-3 days a week)
Here’s what you do:
- Prepare, focus and create an engaging show
- Look at digital as another opportunity for you to connect with our listeners
- Engage at Station appearances, remotes and events as needed
- Execute on-air promotions with passion and enthusiasm
- Keep our listeners company as they navigate thru their busy weekends / days
- Any other duties as assigned
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be able to connect with Gen Z / millennials on all platforms
- Internet and social media savvy - Knowledge of Wide Orbit, Audition &
- MusicMaster is a bonus!
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years on-air experience
- Passionate about music, pop culture and our community
- Team member and having a positive attitude is everything - Want to WIN!
