News Position (full-time) - Durham Radio – Hamilton, ON

Durham Radio Inc. is now accepting resumes for a full-time position in our Newsroom in Hamilton, Ontario.

The successful candidate will have a ravenous appetite for local news, prior experience working on-air, the ability to operate in a team environment, and excellent writing skills.

Responsibilities include:

-anchoring Morning News on KX94.7 and 88.5 The Lake

-writing stories for broadcast and web

-reporting in the field as required

-making positive contributions to our strategic objectives

Skill Requirements & Qualifications:

-post-secondary education in a Radio Broadcasting or related program

-a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar or related position

-organized, self-motivated team player with acute attention to detail

-possess and demonstrate the motivation to exceed expectations

-ability to contribute to and thrive in a team environment
