The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative storyteller to entertain our audience and champion our brand. In this role, you will lead our daily afternoon broadcast, manage music programming, actively engage on social media, and serve as a key public face for the station at various events.

Core Responsibilities

On-Air Hosting: Anchor the daily afternoon show and voice-track weekend broadcasts.

Music Programming: Handle music scheduling to maintain our signature sound.

Community Presence: Represent the station at local civic and charitable functions.

Digital Growth: Drive station exposure through active, creative social media content.

Team Collaboration: Liaise with promotions and sales to build community initiatives and grow listenership.

Qualifications & Skills

Radio Systems: Preferred experience with WideOrbit Automation and MusicMaster or similar systems.

Production & Admin: High proficiency with digital audio editing software and MS Office Suite.

Digital Literacy: Strong understanding of social media platforms and comfortable engaging on them.

Local Connection: Deep familiarity with the Grey-Bruce area or the desire to get out and explore all the region has to offer

Bonus Asset: Prior experience or skills as a Program Director is highly valued.
