LINDA OLSEN JOINS CORUS TALK RADIO LINEUP ON THE SPOTLIGHT HOUR BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 20

Veteran broadcast journalist Linda Olsen hits the airwaves with a brand-new weekend show, The Spotlight Hour, premiering Saturday, September 20 on QR Calgary.

Hosted by Linda, one of Calgary’s longest serving and most respected journalists, The Spotlight Hourwill shine a light on the people, places, and stories that make the city of Calgary so unique, featuring in-depth interviews, and conversation around what’s happening today.

Throughout her nearly four decades of broadcasting, Linda was a trusted voice for Global News Calgary, joining the team in 1995, and telling some of the most significant stories around the city including multiple municipal, provincial, and federal elections, major breaking news events, and devastating natural disasters.

Her highly accoladed career consisted of an Honorary Fellow Award from St. Mary’s University for her role in the community, a Canadian Screen Award and two RTDNA awards for Best Live News Special and Canada’s Best Newscast, respectively, and numerous individual awards for her work.
