We’re looking for our next on-air PERSONALITY. Not someone who does a shift, but someone who does a SHOW!! I’m talking about the type of person who can walk into a room and light the place up. Someone who can create local, fun, engaging, compelling content out of thin air and not rely one ounce on a show prep service.
At MBS Radio in Halifax, we’re looking to add to our Morning Show roster with someone who’s going to knock it out of the park! If you’re still with us, here’s a little more……
Responsibilities
- Host a Morning Show, Monday- Friday delivering compelling, fun and local content.
- Community Engagement – We want someone who lives the lifestyle! Someone who can get out of the studio and be a part of the community.
- Available to host on location remotes and station specific events.
- Convert your show content into social media content that resonates with our listeners and accurately reflects our brand.
- Voicing commercials and voice track other shows in and out of market when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience On Air.
- Working knowledge of Wide Orbit Automation and Adobe Audition.
- Connect and engage with an A25-54 audience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Valid Drivers License is a must.
