PLAY MPE ANNOUNCES NEW CEO: SHARATH CHERIAN

Vancouver, BC – Leading digital music promotion platform Play MPE and Destiny Media Technologies Inc. announce new CEO, Sharath Cherian. 

Cherian is a music industry entrepreneur and technology executive best known for founding HipHopDX, which he grew into one of the world's leading Hip Hop media platforms before its acquisition by Warner Music Group in 2020. Over the course of his career, Cherian has built and scaled businesses at the intersection of music, media, and technology, earning a reputation for innovation and strategic leadership. 

The Los Angeles-based Cherian joins Play MPE after serving in an advisory capacity with the company since early 2025.
