Sales/Marketing Coordinator (trainee)
1 Year-term (April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025)
Nagamo Publishing is a dynamic music company with offices and studios in Toronto and we are looking for a self-motivated Sales/Marketing Coordinator (trainee). The successful candidate in the newly created position will cover all aspects of Nagamos’ sales outreach and digital marketing initiatives; working with a team of talented composers, music pundits and creative brains that specialize in licensing music for television, film, advertising, YouTube, corporate, and just about everything else.
Highlights of this opportunity:
· Propose marketing initiatives for Nagamo’s annual marketing spending;
· Manage &/or assist in day-to-day marketing objectives and social media and SEO strategies;
· Create social content (video/photos);
· Assist in re-design and layout of Nagamo’s website;
· Research sales leads;
· Prospective client and sales outreach;
· Campaign strategy and planning;
· Manage content creation and social media platforms;
· Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Marketing;
· Manage web experience for Nagamo website.
Your accomplishments and experience include:
· A diploma / certificate in a related discipline with proven experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
· Exemplary organizational and time management skills;
· A strong eye for detail;
· Skills in graphic design;
· Excellent Communication and writing skills;
· Ability to plan and organize content marketing strategies;
· Computer literacy and access to a computer;
· Proficiency with basic video editing skills;
· A strong understanding of social media platforms.
Nice to have:
· A love of music;
· Experience managing and optimizing SEO/SEM;
· Experience running paid social ads/sponsored content;
· Familiar with social media management applications;
· Basic understanding of web design;
· Experience using a CRM (i.e. Hubspot).

As this position is based on a grant, the successful candidate must identify as from a First Nation, Métis or Inuit background and must be registered with Miziwe Biik Aboriginal Employment and Training and preferably living in the GTA.
Working conditions:
· $22.68 per hour
· 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
