3rd Annual Community Food Drive - Bayshore Broadcasting

On Friday December 5th, Bayshore Broadcasting Corporation’s three stations located in Owen Sound - 89.3 CFOS FM, Mix 106.5 and Country 93 - held their 3rd Annual Community Food Drive.

This food drive incorporated 7 grocery stores in Owen Sound from 6am to 6pm. It included a 12-hour broadcast on 89.3 CFOS FM from the Zehrs in Owen Sound and the Country 93 Morning Show live on location at the Fresh Co. Our on-air staff cruised around town visiting all 7 stores doing live reports.

And with dozens of volunteers from the Salvation Army and our stations on hand to receive monetary donations and non-perishable food products, we finished up over last year!

Our 3-year total is over $150,000 in monetary and practical food donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank in Owen Sound.

A true community initiative this holiday season!
