Country 93.1 Introduces New Local Lineup in Timmins

Vista Radio's Country 93.1 (CHMT) in Timmins is refreshing its weekday on air lineup with a renewed focus on local voices AND hyper local content.

Weekday mornings from 6 to 9 a.m. will now feature The Start with Dean Tripp. Tripp joins the station bringing a strong reputation for community involvement, creative storytelling, and listener engagement. His approach centers on local issues, local voices, and starting the day with energy for Timmins listeners.

From 9 to 10 a.m., Country 93.1 is introducing a unique local addition with The KINZ and KLOMP Radio Show, hosted by Timmins social media personalities Mark Kinsman and Jamie Klomp.

Known as KINZ and KLOMP, the duo has built a strong local following over the past five years through their nightly Facebook talk show, which launched in 2021 and focuses on promoting everything Timmins. Their content blends hyper local conversation with fun, community driven humour.

The updated weekday lineup reflects Country 93.1's continued commitment to locally driven programming, blending experienced broadcasters with emerging community voices to better reflect and serve the City of Timmins and surrounding community.
