880 CHED and CHUCK @ 92.5!
This brings the 10 year total raised to over $3.1 Million!
CISN Country 103.9 Yards for Hope, this year’s radiothon in support of Hope Mission, an organization dedicated to helping the hungry and homeless. Collectively, over the last decade, the annual radiothon has raised over 3.1 million dollars.
It started on Thursday, October 9, at 6:00 a.m., as Jack & Matt from CISN in the Mornings broadcasted from the field at Commonwealth Stadium. Starting at one end zone of the football field, the live broadcast moved one yard for every thousand dollars donated. The radio hosts, Jack & Matt, continued to move up the field, travelling well beyond their goal of 110 yards and reached the other end zone THREE TIMES by 9 a.m. on Friday, October 10. While the CISN Country Morning Show was on the field, Global Edmonton offered immense support ensuring it reached its highly engaged audience, to surpass the goal! 880 CHED and CHUCK @ 92.5 once again stepped up, offering interviews and promotional support to drive us to the end-zone multiple times!
Online donations are still being accepted all weekend long at: https://hopemission.com/radiothon/
