Announcer (Contract) – APTN

Speak Up! Be the Voice of APTN!

We are looking for an enthusiastic English-speaking voice actor to be the voice of our network. We're looking for a voice that's both youthful and engaging to help us champion impactful Indigenous programming. You'll need access to solid recording gear (like a home studio), and be available for regular voiceover work. This is a paid contract position.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Bring scripts to life by reading them aloud with personality and following creative direction

• Record high-quality voiceovers using your own recording setup and software

• Name and organize audio files clearly, and deliver them on time (usually within 2 days)

• Make any necessary revisions based on provided feedback 

You’ll Thrive in This Role If:

• You know how to get great, consistent sound from your setup

• You speak clearly and confidently, with great pronunciation

• You've got range — from upbeat and fun to calm and corporate

• You catch the little details that make a big difference

• You're organized and good at meeting deadlines 

Education & Experience:No formal education is required — what matters most is your voice and your approach to scripts. If you’ve done voiceover work before, that’s a big plus!
