“Mom I’m On The Radio Contest”

On March 21^st, Bayshore Broadcasting’s 89.3 CFOS FM gave one lucky kid the chance to call a period of the last regular season game of the Owen Sound Attack live on 89.3 CFOS FM.

Over the course of 3 weeks, kids were asked to submit a small video doing their best hockey commentator impression. So many great videos were received and it was so hard to pick just one!

The contest was promoted across Bayshore Broadcasting’s three Owen Sound stations – 89.3 CFOS FM, Mix 106.5 and Country 93.

Our winner 9-year old Silas from Owen Sound, took to the mic like a pro alongside the voice of the Owen Sound Attack Matt Hermiz on Saturday March 21^st, live from the Bayshore Community Centre. Silas also voiced some commercials to promote his appearance on air, received tickets to the game for his friends and family and some Attack swag.

Silas said “Thank you again for this great experience, it will be tough to top!”
