French Announcer (Contract)

Speak up!

We are seeking an enthusiastic French-speaking voice actor to provide French voiceovers for network promos. We are looking for a French voice that's both youthful and engaging to help us champion Indigenous programming. You'll need access to solid recording gear (like a home studio), and be available for regular voiceover work. This is a paid contract position.

What you'll be doing:

• Bring scripts to life by reading them aloud with personality and following creative direction;

• Record high-quality voiceovers using your own recording setup and software;

• Name and organize audio files clearly, and deliver them on time (usually within 2 days);

• Make any necessary revisions based on provided feedback.

You’ll thrive in this role if:

• You know how to get great, consistent sound from your setup;

• You speak clearly and confidently, with great pronunciation;

• You've got range — from upbeat and fun to calm and corporate;

• You can follow written creative direction provided in French or English.

Education & Experience:

No formal education is required – what matters most is your voice and your approach to scripts. If you’ve done voiceover work before, that’s a big plus!

Votre mission:

• Donner vie aux scénarios en les lisant à haute voix avec personnalité et en suivant les orientations créatives;

• Enregistrer des voix hors champ de grande qualité à l'aide de votre propre équipement et logiciel d'enregistrement;

• Nommer et organiser clairement les fichiers audios et les livrer dans les temps impartis (généralement dans un délai de 2 jours);

• Apporter les modifications nécessaires en fonction des commentaires reçus.

Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devez:

• Savoir obtenir un son excellent et constant à partir de votre équipement;

• Parler clairement avec assurance et une excellente prononciation;

• Avoir une voix polyvalente, pouvant passer d'un ton enjoué et amusant à un ton calme et professionnel;

• Être capable de suivre des recommandations créatives écrites en français ou en anglais.

Formation et expérience:

Aucune formation officielle n'est requise : ce qui compte avant tout, c'est votre voix et votre approche des scénarios. Si vous avez déjà fait du doublage et/ou des voix hors champs, c'est un gros plus!
