Weekend News Announcer/Reporter

Responsibilities:

- research, gather and prepare news stories

- editing voice clips in digital format

- building newscasts using Burli

- updating of website

- anchoring news and sports Saturday and Sunday

-cover City Council, the Legislature, committee meetings and generate stories                         -learn to be back up to Agriculture Director

-reporting three days a week

-other duties as required                                                                                       

Qualifications:

- experience with Burli is a benefit

- ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- ability to work under pressure, handle associated stress and react quickly

- excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills                                              - strong writing ability

- valid driver licence
